Indrani Saunders

Principal

I come from a family of educators and I truly believe that the best gift you can give a child is an education. I have been teaching for over 25 years.
I have been teaching at The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands since January 1996. I was appointed Vice-Principal in May 2006 and Principal in January 2022.
I was educated in Canada, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Trent University, my Bachelor of Education in T.E.S.L. from Brock University and my Education Certification from Medaille College, Buffalo, New York.
I have had the pleasure of teaching in both Canada and in The Turks and Caicos Islands in both private as well as public schools. I am qualified to teach Primary-Junior, Secondary and Adult education.
My husband Jay and I have four wonderful children. All four of children have attended and thrived at ISTCI..
I believe that every child deserves the right to learn in a safe and caring environment.
