1986 to 2016 – 30 years of educational success and inspiration
This academic year the International School of the TCI celebrates its 30th year of educating the youth of the Turks and Caicos Islands. It all started in 1986!
The small school that was started many years ago in Leeward has grown into amazing school. Children can start from the age of 9 months in our nursery til they are in Grade 6.
From our tiny beginnings, we have grown immensely: a nursery program, a language program, PE program, speciality teachers and of course our swimming pool but what makes our school so special…the students, the teachers and parents!
Can you believe that it has been 30 years since we first opened our doors in Providenciales? We have achieved so much to be proud of.

Celebrate Good Times!
We celebrated our 30th anniversary with a family style bbq on the September 29th at the International School of the TCI school grounds. We all had such a fun afternoon in the sunshine!
Mr. David Bowen joined us for fun and games! The children wore their house colours with pride and enjoyed the fun competitions, running races, balloon games and tug of war!
Many of the parents and teachers joined in the races and everyone had so much fun that we did not notice who won overall! Thank you to everyone for taking part in our special day.
We welcomed our current students, families and also many of our alumni came to celebrate this important milestone. It was a special moment to celebrate with Ms. Barbara who has been with the school for the 30 years now!
A wonderful BBQ was catered by The Beach House. Our school council provided a scrumptious bake sale and our very active PTA tended the bar.
What a wonderful start we have had to the new school year!
We have welcomed 149 children into our school from our Nursery through to Grade 6 (children 9 months – 11 years). More than 50 of these children are new to the school. This is the highest number we have had on roll for nearly ten years.
We now have children and staff from over 20 different nations and so we can truly call ourselves an international school!

Our ISTCI 30th Anniversary shirts are now on sale for $15. Our school children will wear them for our Sport Days, swim events and other school events.
