Our children enjoy the open space for free play that our campus offers. Attractively landscaped and organised, the school grounds feature purpose designed playgrounds in the Nursery School, the Foundation Stage and main recreational area.
We have a large outdoor lunch area under a shade marquee, plus shaded picnic areas for snack times.
Our staff room offers cooking facilities for classes and after school clubs.
Our outdoor Theatre looks down upon the all-purpose court. We have a wealth of outdoor climbing and recreational equipment including a climbing wall, basketball court, obstacle course, basketball and football court.
In a pretty garden nook sits our Music Garden where children can play with the outdoor instruments such as the large metallophones and drums.
Our Peace Park, offers shade and quiet time for children who want to enjoy the developing garden of indigenous plants, read or simply sit with friends or imaginatively play on the newly-developed 20 foot long Pirate Ship!
We are pleased to announce our modern and friendly, purpose built Nursery School; an exciting addition to our long-established Early Years Foundation Stage department.

We are pleased to announce the grand opening of a Grade 7 at the International School. We aim to create something really unique and special, right here on our already fantastically resourced campus.
The Grade 7 provides an alternative option for children reaching the end of their primary school years. This is a much needed alternative option, to serve our children and our community. In the summer of 2018, we will build a Key Stage 3 (Grades 7, 8 and 9) block.
The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands is proud of its well-equipped computer room, iPads, a suite of networked computers with internet access, projectors and the latest software. Our SK – Grade 6 classrooms are well resourced and now feature the phased introduction of interactive whiteboards.
Please view our informative blog on the latest changes to our Computing Curriculum.
Our specialist Science lab is well utilised and lead by a specialist science teacher, who teaches children for Grades 3 – 6; the only Primary school in the region to offer this facility.

ISTCI stands out as the only school with a swimming pool in Turks and Caicos. In addition, this is the largest training sized swimming pool on the island! The pool has 4 racing lanes and is 60 feet in length. There are shower, changing room and toilet facilities.
All students benefit from the swimming pool as it is part of the ISTCI sporting curriculum. Swimming lessons are every week with a trained swimming teacher.
We also have a specialist Language Teacher for French and Spanish and a dedicated room that all children from JK to Grade 7 visit during the week.
In addition, we have a special French immersion program dedicated to the French speaking children and a very effective English as a Second Language (ESL) program for students who need it. ESL is an English language study program for nonnative speakers. Our dedicated ESL teacher works closely with the children to boost their confidence and linguistic skills.
Music and Performances
We also have a specialist Performing Arts Teacher, who delivers an imaginative and fun weekly lesson for all children from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 7.
We believe music and performing arts are a fantastic way for children to express themselves and show their natural creativity.
