In French this month we had many activities going on. We mostly learned about the environment of a tropical island, nature, the sea. In Grade 2 we learned about the weather and the seasons. The children had a special art class, from a Canadian artist. They learned special skills and tricks to draw and colour the four seasons. Everyone enjoyed the experience. In Grade 4, the children put together all the information received in term 1 to create their own webpage where they had to talk about themselves, their family and their favourite activity at school. Here is Hailie’s webpage. We are now learning about a tropical island and the Turks and Caicos Islands (Les Iles Turques et Caiques / Les Iles Turquoises). Lots of new words to remember!!!
