Communication and Involvement
At ISTCI, we believe education is a shared journey between school and family, built on open communication and active participation. Together, these foster a strong sense of community and support every student’s success.
Parents stay connected through Firefly, ISTCI’s secure communication platform that provides access to announcements, class updates, and important school information. Log in regularly to stay informed about school-wide reminders, celebrations, and updates from across the ISTCI community. Families are also encouraged to take an active role in school life through parent-teacher meetings, Exit Points, school events, volunteering opportunities, and the ISTCI Parent Association.
Academic Support and Wellbeing
At ISTCI, we support every student to reach their full potential. Our caring team provides academic and emotional guidance to help every child feel confident, capable, and inspired to learn.
Learning Support
ISTCI’s dedicated Learning Support team, led by our SEND specialist, works closely with teachers and families to identify and address individual learning needs. Through tailored strategies and inclusive classroom practices, we help students build essential skills and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Guidance and Wellbeing
Our teachers and leadership team provide ongoing guidance to nurture students’ social and emotional development. We believe wellbeing is the foundation of learning, and we encourage open communication between school and home to support every child’s growth.
Home Learning
Home learning at ISTCI reinforces classroom learning while helping students develop independence and responsibility. Daily reading is encouraged, and each assignment is designed to deepen understanding, strengthen the partnership between home and school, and engage parents in their child’s education.
Co-Curricular Activities
Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to explore their interests and develop new skills through a range of co-curricular activities. These experiences promote creativity, teamwork, confidence, and personal growth.
