Enrolment by Year Group
At the International School Turks and Caicos Islands (ISTCI), students are placed in the appropriate year group based on their age and stage of development, following an initial assessment with the Principal and prospective class teacher. Our aim is to ensure that every child joins the year group that best supports their growth, confidence, and readiness to learn.
Each placement is considered individually. Children with special educational needs may be placed in a different year group where appropriate, in consultation with the Principal, teachers, and parents. For students transferring from another school, placement may also take into account previous schooling, curriculum, and academic calendars to support a smooth transition.
