Keep up your child's progress and avoid the summer slide! Offering a Summer Academic Club at the International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Research shows that summer can take a real toll on a student's knowledge and skills - from maths to reading. The summer slide has been measured and the results have shown children having a set back of 2.6 months in maths, 2 months regression in spelling and also on average 1 month of grade school in reading literacy over the summer period.

Wow, what a great Science Fair 2015! We are pleased and proud to announce the winners and also congratulate all the participating scientists in our annual school Science Fair 2015. The fair is an exciting event that encourages the children to think like a young scientist! All the children from Grades 3-6 research, test and produce a poster detailing their research and their scientific findings.

Grade 5 & 6 explore fun things to do in Grand Turk! As a fun reward for all their hard work this year Grade 5 and Grade 6 were taken on a very exciting field trip to Grand Turk. Accompanied by Mrs. Hinks, Mr. Chung, Mrs. Jimenez and Mrs. Danics the children flew off for an educational, fun and very memorable day trip! For many it was the first time they had travelled on a plane without their parents! Plus the Grade 6 class had the extra privilege of staying overnight and continuing the adventure the following day. Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition. We are pleased and proud to announce that Oliver French, Grade 5, achieved 2nd place in the Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition organized by DEMA. Such a wonderful achievement for his age. DEMA said they received a number of magnificent entries and were overwhelmed by the photographic talent among our youth!
